In a grand display of knowledge sharing and scientific exchange, the “Fertility Conference: Ovary-The Mystery Unravelled” was organized on Sunday, 29th October 2023, at the illustrious Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in Hyderabad. This event was a collaborative effort by KIMS Fertility Centre, in association with the Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society of Hyderabad (OGSH), and was held under the esteemed patronage of Dr. B. Bhaskar Rao, Chairman and Managing Director of KIMS Hospitals
This conference was a pioneering initiative aimed at empowering gynecologists with the latest advancements and insights into the management of female subfertility, specifically focusing on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Poor Ovarian Reserve (POR). With the event accredited with 2 credit points by the Telangana State Medical Council, it drew distinguished speakers and experts from both national and international domains in the field of Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. S. Vyjayanthi, Head of Department and Consultant Fertility Specialist at KIMS Fertility Centre, along with her role as Director and Consultant Fertility Specialist at Mothertobe Fertility, Madhapur, Hyderabad, extended a warm welcome to all the participants. She emphasized the significance of the conference in addressing two of the most challenging issues in female subfertility – PCOS and Poor Ovarian Reserve.The conference boasted a stellar lineup of speakers, including international faculty like Dr. Ephia Yasmin, a Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine & Surgery from the UK, and key national figures such as Dr. Neena Malhotra from AIIMS, Delhi, and Dr. P. Raghu Ram from Hyderabad. These experts lent their expertise to discuss the latest developments in reproductive medicine.
The scientific program encompassed various sessions, starting with a discussion on PCOS, delving into diagnosis and treatment, including ovulation induction and surgical interventions.
