Am happy to share that I am spearheading a one-year fellowship programme in Infertility Management. This programme is a collaboration between KIMS Fertility Centre and MotherToBe Fertility Clinic with Indian Medical Association (IMA) and through this initiative I aim to share my 20 plus years of expertise in Reproductive Medicine to address the growing need for skilled professionals in this critical area of healthcare.
The inaugural session of this programme took place on 20th July at KIMS Fertility Centre, located at KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad. Attended by 23 delegates from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the event commenced with a guided tour of the advanced facilities at KIMS Fertility Centre. The esteemed presence of Dr. B. Bhaskar Rao Garu, Chairman and Managing Director of KIMS Group of Hospitals, added significance to the occasion as he lit the lamp of knowledge. Dr Bhaskar Rao Garu inaugurated the session and addressed the fellows.
With Infertility becoming a pressing concern for many couples, and the existing knowledge gap in this field have been the driving factors for me and this fellowship programme is designed to equip Obstetricians and Gynaecologists with evidence-based protocols in Reproductive Medicine, enabling them to effectively manage and treat infertile couples. The one-year fellowship programme aims to create a robust learning experience for medical professionals seeking specialization in Reproductive Medicine. It covers both theoretical knowledge and practical aspects, providing participants with an opportunity to interact with experts and learn from their experiences.
I believe in knowledge sharing with the next generation of medical professionals and empowering and guiding the young doctors, is one of the most important tools through which I can do my bit and contribute to the advancement of Reproductive Medicine in India and beyond.
