Fellowship Practical Examination – April 22, 2025
Today, we successfully conducted the final practical examination for the Fellowship in Infertility Management at KIMS Fertility Centre – Secunderabad, in collaboration with Mother To Be Fertility & Academy. This exam marked a significant milestone, bringing to completion months of structured academic training and hands-on clinical exposure for our fellowship participants.
As the examiner, it was a privilege to guide and assess the fellows through this rigorous evaluation process. We designed the examination to test core clinical competencies and practical judgment across the spectrum of reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
The practical component assessed the candidates’ ability to:
•Evaluate and manage infertility cases with clarity and confidence
•Interpret diagnostic investigations including hormonal assessments, ultrasound, hysteroscopy and laparoscopy findings, and semen analysis
•Devise individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient needs
We also conducted a viva voce (oral exam) to evaluate the fellows on:
•Clinical reasoning and communication skills
•Knowledge in reproductive endocrinology, infertility diagnosis and treatment
•Proficiency in ART protocols and awareness of current guidelines, research, and ethics
What truly stood out was the fellows’ ability to think critically and present their management strategies effectively. It is heartening to see their growth into confident, compassionate, and capable professionals.
This examination reflects our commitment to building the next generation of fertility specialists who are not just clinically competent but also empathetic, ethical, and prepared to make a lasting impact in reproductive healthcare.
