Engaging with Gynaecologists on Fertility Preservation at Niloufer Hospital
On 17th June 2025, I had the opportunity to speak at Niloufer Hospital, Hyderabad, on the topic “Fertility Preservation: What Every Gynaecologist Should Know.” The session, held in the afternoon, brought together an enthusiastic group of clinicians committed to staying updated on emerging trends in reproductive health.
I spoke about the growing relevance of fertility preservation—both in the context of medical conditions like cancer, and elective choices related to delayed childbearing. The discussion focused on identifying at-risk patients early and offering appropriate, evidence-based options such as egg freezing or ovarian tissue preservation.
It was a meaningful interaction, and I’m glad to contribute to raising awareness on this important subject that is fast becoming an integral part of gynaecological care.
